We're Worth the Ride!

Gazebos are a great addition to any backyard. Gazebos are beautiful and relaxing all on their own, and can typically fit inside nice patio furniture and rocking chairs. Gazebos are a great investment and can add value to your home and life! They are also an investment worth planning for. By the end of this blog, you’ll be able to answer: “how much does a gazebo cost?

Why Get a Gazebo?

Gazebos are a beautiful structure to add to your property. It is important to know that gazebos do not come with any hidden storage areas – so if your goal is to have a structure where you can stow away many of your belongings, a gazebo might not be the best fit for you.

Gazebos are a great centerpiece in your yard, and provide a great deal of shade and can help fill up empty space.  Often decorated for celebrations such as weddings, holidays, and other parties, gazebos are a great structure for those who love to host.

How Much are Gazebos?

How much is a gazebo? The price of a gazebo is highly dependent on what features you are looking for, and the size you are interested in getting. Most gazebos come in a variety of sizes ranging from 8 feet to 20 feet in circumference. A modest designed gazebo, such as our belvedere style, is the most simplistic style. The 8-foot Belvedere gazebo goes for under 4,000 dollars in our pressure treated variety, and under 6,000 dollars in the vinyl option.

Our Victorian pagoda gazebo, on the other hand, is one of the more detailed and intricately designed. It comes in seven different sizes, features a double roof for more airflow, and features generous overhangs as well as a longer top to capture elegance. The 8’ selection of Victorian Pagoda Gazebo runs for under 8,000 dollars in pressure treated and under 12,000 dollars in vinyl. Not included in this price are any corner braces, spindles, electrical prewires, color upgrades, or aluminum screens you might be interested in having on your gazebo! Plus you have to factor in delivery and assembly.

How Much to Build a Gazebo?

Building a gazebo is a difficult task that should only be considered if you are a professional and have a deep understanding of the different materials and tools involved. That being said, building a gazebo on your own will likely cost just as much if not more than it cost to purchase one outright.

You’ll have to purchase either wood or vinyl to construct your gazebo. This can be quite costly to purchase at consumer prices. Purchasing a gazebo will be more cost-effective, as retailers can get the supplies at a wholesale cost in bulk. Wood will be less expensive but require more upkeep. Vinyl is more costly but virtually maintenance-free. Which material you choose is really dependent on how much upkeep you are willing to do!

You’ll need additional materials if you choose to build your gazebo in a wider, more oval shape versus the standard circle. This design, similar to our Cameo style gazebo, gives you more space and offers an elongated look. This style is best if you are looking to fill a more narrow space. Between the materials (wood or vinyl), screens, shingles, doors, hardware, tools, and man-hours, your gazebo project will likely cost you 10,000 dollars right off the bat. You’ll also have to tackle all of the planning, zoning, and permits which can be confusing without a guide if you’ve never worked on a project like this previously.

Where Can I Buy a Gazebo?

Purchasing a gazebo will save you time and stress. There are a variety of styles available in addition to the Belvedere and Victorian Pagoda mentioned.
